I appreciate the fact that the hotel is a 10 min walk from two different metro stations so very handy because you can get to anywhere you want pretty easily. The breakfast was good, at least there was everything you wanted from coffee, tea, juices, croissants, cereals, ham, eggs, yoghurt, bread and fresh fruit. There is even an outdoor eating area which was lovely and had lots of flowers and shade!

The room was little smaller than i expected but it was comfortable and had a view to the street. The breakfast had the basics (bread, eggs, jams, croissants, juice and coffee) but it was very tasty. The location is quiet but you feel like you aren't in the centre of Paris anymore.

For the price it was a very nice hotel, big bed, had closet space. The window couldn't open all the way which made ventilating the room hard, but I understand it was probably done for safety reasons. The breakfast pastries were warm and freshly baked!

Everything ,especially the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff”especially Suzan”…this lady was of a great help to me cuz during my trip I have had a very bad flu and I asked for a Dr…she Not even helped me to find a dr.but she asked him to come to my room and went to buy me the food the Dr.asked for>>cuz I was very very ill and not even able to walk out of my room to the super market…I can’t talk enough about this lady”she was like my guardian Angel during this period”

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs I had. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and remarkably quiet, ensuring a restful stay.

The hotel is within walking distance from the metro stations (Les Gobelins and Glaciere) and very close to rue Mouffetard which makes eating out extremely convenient. A colleague and I accompanied a group of 20 students and both the booking process and checking in was easy. The staff was helpful in writing and in person, too, and was ready to cater for our students' needs. The breakfast is substantial and varied for a 2 star hotel.

The location had quick links to all major sites, landmarks and museums. The breakfast was only continental but was more than enough for what I needed, all produce was fresh and tasty. The bed was comfortable, big and had a plug right next to the bed. There was also hangers, a desk and chair with a garden view. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. 10/10 experience. Reception manned 24/7 and secure, free luggage storage.

*Friendly Staff *Breakfast options were vast for price (breads, cheeses, boiled eggs, ham, jams, honey, cereal, yoghurt, fresh pastries, fruit, coffee machine, teas, juices) *Charming outside terrace with tables and chairs *Rooms were clean and had complimentary soap and shower gel *Ironing facilities on 6th floor which the lift does go to (seem someone say it didn't on another review) very clean just get the key from reception to use *A main metro station 8 mins walk, some nice bars and restaurants within few mins

We are really satisfied with our stay in Magendie hotel. We spent 5 nights, with breakfast included (which was diverse and delicious as well!). The hotel is on the great location, quiet and safe, and in 30-40 minutes walk you're already next to the Seine river! The hotel staff was really kind and we've had our room cleaned on a daily basis, with new towels, shampoos etc... And one of the most important things for us - no bugs. We really enjoyed our stay here and will surely come back!

Good location. 10 minutes to either metro line 6 which takes you to Trocadero station to see the Eiffel Tower or the metro line 7 to go to the city centre. The first room we were given was tiny and more suitable for a single traveller. After explaining our situation (mom travelling with tall teenager!) the wonderful receptionist gave us a room which was a little bigger with a large bed. The breakfast was very good and had all the french essentials! Overall the hotel was clean, the staff very kind and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. If you want to get a little bit of authenticity in a Parisian neighbourhood book this hotel!
